The City Attorney is appointed by the City Commission. The City Attorney's Office represents and advises the Mayor, City Commission and City officials and
departments in legal matters pertaining to their office and City operations.
Brian Corry currently serves as the City Attorney for Brunswick and the Prosecuting Attorney for the Municipal Court of Brunswick.
Mr. Corry handles the day-to-day matters for the City of Brunswick and City of Brunswick Municipal Court. Mr. Corry spent three
years as the Assistant City Attorney for the City of Brunswick. Prior to his time with the City, Mr. Corry was employed as part of
the Glynn County Attorney’s Office. At the County Attorney’s office, Mr. Corry helped provide in-house legal services to Glynn County,
a political subdivision of the State of Georgia.
After graduating from Valdosta State University, cum laude in 2007, Mr. Corry attended law school
at Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, Florida. While in law school, Mr. Corry served as an intern in the County Attorney’s office in
exchange for school credit. Mr. Corry is admitted to the State Bar of Georgia; the U.S. District Court Southern District of Georgia. Mr. Corry
is the President of the Glynn County Young Lawyer’s Division and District Representative of the Young Lawyer’s Division of the State Bar of Georgia.
