The City Commission appoints the City Clerk who serves at will for an indefinite term.
The City Clerk shall be custodian of the Official City Seal, shall maintain City records essential
to the City Charter, and shall perform such other duties as may be required by the Commission.
He/she attends all Commission meetings and keeps record of all Commission meeting minutes.

To serve the citizens, the City Commission and the various City departments
pursuant to state statute and in an efficient, courteous, and professional
manner that lends itself to bringing respect and dignity to the City we serve.
Vision Statement
To employ and sustain, for now and in the future, procedures that efficiently
provide access of all public information for the citizens, City Commission
and the various City departments. To place Brunswick on the track of
excellence as a leader in the profession of record retention and
preservation of the City's official records.
