Historic Brunswick, Georgia ~ A City for All Seasons! -
Get Outside & Play!
City of Brunswick, Georgia
Brunswick is a community that enjoys coming together to celebrate our city’s history, culture, art, charities, music, and local cuisine.
Historic Downtown Brunswick hosts a diversity of festivals and cultural events throughout the year, including open air concerts, the Old Fashioned 4th of July at Mary Ross Waterfront Park, and Stewbilee, a celebratory cook-off featuring our delicious culinary trademark, Brunswick Stew.
Join us each month for First Friday Downtown from 5 pm – 8 pm. Galleries and shops will be open and serving wine & snacks, with live music in the pocket parks.
Rhythm on the River is a free family-oriented Music Event in Downtown Brunswick at Mary Ross Waterfront Park, Historic Downtown Brunswick.
Year round bike riding and walking are easy in our town due to the flat terrain and pleasant climate. Enjoy the outdoors in the city by exploring The Department of Natural Resources Nature Trail at the marsh's edge and the Howard Coffin Park Walking Trail and refreshing summertime pool.
Our beautiful natural scenic landscape invites jogging and walking with paths and areas such as the Sidney Lanier Bridge, the Old Town Brunswick National Historic District, and Mary Ross Waterfront Park. Local landmarks include Lover's Oak, Historic downtown buildings, and the Marshes of Glynn.
Wildlife, birds and abundant foliage and flowers appeal to photographers and artists. With moderate temperatures, our great outdoors offers year round pleasures of kayaking, sailing, volleyball, rugby, tennis, and swimming. Local charters are available for fishing and dolphin boat tours.
